Our goal is to produce top quality, healthy, intelligent dogs that conform to the breed standard and will be suitable for multi-purpose homes. All breedings are carefully researched and both parents have the appropriate genetic clearances (eyes, heart, hips, & elbows, as well as genetic tests for PRA-1 and PRA-2 and ichthyosis).
We are a small hobby breeder and only have 1 - 3 litters a year. We do put a great deal of time and effort into the ones we raise, therefore it is of the utmost importance that the perfect home and family is found for every one of our beautiful Golden puppies.

About Us
Jaad was started by myself, Jennifer Manzer in 2005 when I got my first Golden Retriever, Oribelle. From as young as 14 years old, my dream has always been to breed Golden's. This desire to breed is a result of a love and passion for everything about them including their beauty, versatility, temperament, and intelligence. With every litter of pups, we are always striving to improve on the breed.

I have been mentored by other Golden Retriever breeders who have provided me with so much guidance and wisdom. There is always more to learn and I strive to always continue to improve my knowledge of the breed in every way I can.
All of our dogs are raised as cherished, valued members of our family and live in our home with us. We have fun doing many different activities with them including walking/hiking, swimming, training for obedience or agility and also conformation dog shows.
I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club as well as the Golden Retriever Club (UK). I worked at a veterinary clinic from 2012 - 2017 and have also worked with a professional dog behaviourist from 2009 - 2017. I ran puppy and adult dog socialization classes as well as taught puppy to level 3 dog obedience classes. I now have a full time job that allows me to work from home.
