ABOUT US

JAAD is owned and operated by Jennifer Duvall along with the help of my husband, Andrew. Our desire to breed Golden Retrievers is a result of a love and passion for everything about them including their beauty, versatility, temperament, and intelligence. The three girls we currently own are a constant source of joy and laughter in our lives. We bring them everywhere with us and our life seems to revolve around them. They even come to work with us!

We waited until our circumstances were right (a house and property) when we got our first girl, Oribelle, in 2005. My dream has always been to breed Golden's and although Oribelle passed all her clearance and recieved her Championship title, due to some unfortunate circumstances we were unable to breed her. So she is now our spoiled rotten pet with a forever spot on our couch and bed for her.

In 2006, my first dog that I ever owned passed away, her name was Indra and she was a Husky mix. She left us so suddenly that it broke my heart, and Oribelle's too it seemed. Oribelle would watch out the window and whine, almost like she was waiting for her to come back. So at this point we got our second Golden Retriever girl, Aurora. Aurora will never replace Indra but she helped me to fill up some of that hole that was left after Indra was gone. She has passed her clearances, has her championship, and is now a part of our breeding program.

Next we added Jayda to our family. She came along when I found out that we were unable to breed Oribelle. Jayda was born in 2007, has passed all of her clearances and has been added to our breeding program.

Our foundation golden girls have been bred by Jennifer McAuley who owns Chrys-Haefen kennels. We are very impressed with Jennifer’s lines as they are healthy, sound dogs with an excellent temperament. We are confident that both girls (Aurora and Jayda) will prove to be a sound start to our breeding program and the goals we wish to accomplish. Our girls live in the house with us and are pets (children) first and working companions second.

Our goal is to produce top quality, healthy, intelligent dogs that conform to the breed standard and will be suitable for multi-purpose homes. All breedings are carefully researched and both parents have the appropriate genetic clearances (eyes, hips, elbows & heart). We do not produce large quantities of Golden Retriever puppies, but we do put a great deal of time and effort into the ones we raise, therefore it is of the utmost importance that we find the perfect home and family for each of our beautiful Golden puppies.

We encourage all of our prospective clients to come and visit us and meet our dogs (by appointment only please).
